HD DVD vs. Blue Ray, the battle continues. HD gave Ray a one, two combo punch. Big Blue is still in the game but it looks doubtful that he'll be the victor.

Lonelygirl15

This Lonelygirl thing is an interesting idea. But can this be done again? Maybe not the same exact way. And with OK Go: YouTube was just getting started and OK got in at the bottom and got a lot of hits. Now I'm a big OK Go fan. Well, maybe not, but I do think they're pretty great. I can see now that this is just the start of this kind of thing. So what is the next new distribution channel? And who will be at the bottom of that as the icon? But with thousands and thousands of people out there posting things it's amazing that we still have web celebrities.

a. It is a girl (or so everyone beleaved) with a video blog. Tons of people got into it on YouTube. But actually Lonelygirl15 is more of an idea or company.
b. Ramesh Flinders, a screenwriter and filmmaker from Marin County, Calif.; Miles Beckett, a doctor-turned-filmmaker; Grant Steinfeld, a software engineer; and an actress named Jessica Rose.
c. It sounds like a company named Creative Artists Agency thought up this idea.
d. A web-cam and a lot of creativity is all you need to make a mark in the world.
e. California and YouTube.
f. Now it's also on Revver, where it can make money.(Kinda like Brightcove)

Carson Daily the new Al Gore? I kept coming across this "IYS" when going to the NBC website to watch my shows. In It's Your Show entries can be submitted for challenges or categories and the winners get money, and maybe put on NBC. I haven't quite figured this out yet.
